Announcements for August 22-29

(IMPORTANT CHANGE OF PLACE FOR CONCERT ON SATURDAY)

What’s coming up this week –

On Monday, a team of 10 people from America will be arriving to help us out throughout the week.

10:00 Wednesday, 25 August: Meet at Minckelersstraat 18. We will be fliering in the city center area.

19:00 Thursday, 26 August: We have a booth at the INKOM fair on the Markt. The fair gives organizations a chance to connect with the incoming students that start classes next week.

16:00 Friday, 27 August: For our Friday gathering, we will be going to the Grotten Noord (North caves) on St. Pietersberg. Meet at Chalet Bergrust, Luikerweg 71. The cost is 5 euros. After the cave tour, we will have pannenkoeken for dinner at Midgetgolfbaan Sint Pietersberg, Luikerweg 78. Cost is approximately 10 euros with drink.

21:00 Saturday, 28 August: We are sponsoring a concert at de Kadans (Kesselskade 62). There will be three bands playing: Saymore, Daylight, and Desmond. Giveaways include two iPod shuffles. Cost: 2 euros.

11:00 Sunday, 29 August: Weekly meeting at StayOkay hostel (Maasboulevard 101).

17:00 Sunday, 29 August: Outreach in the Stadspark (City park). We will be giving away sandwiches and playing volleyball.
